• 2 Pedestrians Hit By Van Injured In Acworth (patch.com) — Residents in Acworth are being alerted after two pedestrians were struck by a van while using a crosswalk at Main Street and New McEver Road on Saturday afternoon. Cobb County Police say one victim suffered critical injuries and the other non-life-threatening injuries, with both taken to a local hospital as investigators determine whether the driver will face charges.
   

• Health inspection scores for Cobb County restaurants and other food services from December 12 to December 18 (cobbcountycourier.com) — Several Acworth restaurants, including Chick-fil-A on Cobb Parkway, Waffle House on Mars Hill Road, and 1885 Grill, all earned excellent health inspection scores between December 12 and 18.
