Police: Teen Killed Following Argument

Warrant claims fatal stabbing after fight in Acworth home.

The 18-year-old Canton woman accused of killing her 17-year-old step cousin in Acworth allegedly stabbed her victim multiple times with a kitchen knife in a front yard, an arrest warrant states.

Olivia Nicole Smith and Abbey Hebert got into an ”argument” inside a home in the 3100 block of Blowing Wind Court at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday, according to the warrant.

The argument got physical, prompting Smith to retrieve a kitchen knife, stab Hebert, and chase the wounded victim outside the home, the warrant states. A witness saw the struggle outside and told investigators he saw Smith on top of Hebert, stabbing her multiple times.
