The Georgia Federation of Republican Women (GFRW) is hosting the National Federation of Republican Women’s (NFRW) Southeast Regional Summer Conference this weekend at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in nearby Smyrna-Vinings, the Cumberland area of Cobb County.

The theme of the event is “United We Stand”, with a speaker lineup including Gov. Nathan Deal, Sen. Rafael “Ted” Cruz, RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day, Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez among several others.

“We can no longer sit back and watch our party separate from within itself. It is time to unite and find commonality within our party and those from outside who agree,” said Lisa Roper, NFRW 4th Vice President and Region 7 Director. “It is our hope that this conference will give everyone a platform to be heard and learn from others who are making strides from within our communities.”

“We are excited to host the NFRW Regional Conference here in Georgia,” said Rose Wing, GFRW President. “Our guest speakers show the diversity we already know we have within the party and we are eager to continue building new relationships.”
