Warrant: Acworth Burglary Suspect Had Teen Accomplices

One was 14 years old. The other was 16.

An Acworth man is accused of breaking into an apartment, and bringing two teenagers along as his accomplices.

Just after midnight May 12, Sebastian Phillip Huggins, a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy knocked on the front door of one of the units at the Wingate Falls apartments, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

Nobody answered, and the boy allegedly kicked the door, which caused the door frame to break and the door to open.

While the girl remained outside as a lookout, Huggins and the boy went inside the apartment and confronted two residents, one of them 16 years old.

"An argument ensued over a missing cell phone," an Acworth police officer wrote in the warrant. "During the argument, said accused and the 16-year-old accomplice threatened to return with a gun and said, 'Just better watch your back.' "
