- The Milton Police Department wants to thank Valor Christian Academy; they allowed the police cadets to conduct active shooter training at the school. The cadets were joined with the Alpharetta Explorers to learn how to respond to various challenges including shooters and wounded citizens. This training will help both groups in their upcoming competitions over the next several months. (Milton Police Department via Facebook)
- Last Saturday, attendees at Milton City Park and Preserve's by Love GOGA event had fun at a mindfulness session. After some exercises, they hung out with an African penguin, red-fronted brown lemur, a pair of hedgehogs, and a fox!
