  1. An Alpharetta nonprofit is helping veterans find civilian employment. Hire Heroes USA also assists veterans' spouses during the transition back to civilian life.   3. Milton's City Council is considering a project that would add a mid-block crosswalk on Bethany Bend. The mid-block designation means that the crosswalk would not be placed at a major intersection. The crosswalk would be placed by Serenade Court and would extend across three lanes. (City of Milton)
  4. The Alpharetta Police Department is searching for new police officers in an unlikely location: New Jersey. The department is holding a hiring event at Hasbrouck Heights High School today and tomorrow to assist local residents through the hiring process. The department is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus with an additional $3,000 in relocation costs. (NJ.com)
  5. Senator Lindsey Graham's attorney reported he will be challenging Fulton County's special grand jury's subpoena. The attorney's statement also noted that Graham is only a witness and is not the subject or target of the grand jury's investigation. The subpoena is related to the Senator's December 2020 phone calls to the Georgia Secretary of State. (11 Alive)
