  1. Milton residents are being asked to register their Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV's), which are golf carts that can be driven legally on the street. Here is a registration form, which can be filled on your computer or phone: https://www.miltonga.gov/home/showdocument?id=6638. After it's completed, print it out and bring or mail it to City Hall with a $15 fee. You will receive a registration sticker mailed to your home; it expires in 2029. The sticker needs to be placed on the back of your vehicle. Here is a link to more information on PTV's https://www.miltonga.gov/resid.... (City of Milton)
  2. The Alpharetta Fire Department recently made a unique rescue. A family called because a stray kitten was stuck in the engine of a vehicle and wouldn't come out. After unsuccessfully convincing the kitten to come out, someone squirted it with a hose, and it ran into the house's side yard. Engine 84 found the scared kitten, and the family is taking it to a rescue. (Alpharetta Department of Public Safety via Facebook)
  3. If you have recently gone by Creek View Elementary School or Alpharetta High School, you probably saw the flags on Webb Bridge Road. They were placed on the street by a "mother/daughter service organization CATS (Called Alpharetta to Serve)." The flags are to commemorate all the victims of 9/11 and their families. (Creek View Elementary School PTA via Facebook)
  4. Gwinnett Police are asking for the public's help in locating Alpharetta resident Maury-Ange Martinez. She left the Gwinnett County jail last month after being released and is missing. When she left, she was picked up by a white male in a white Chevrolet pickup truck. The young woman's mother told police that she uses uses fentanyl and has been mixed up in possible human trafficking. If you see her, please call 911; her picture is in this link.
