Here are the top five stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:
- The City of Milton released a parks and activities guide. As part of the showcase, they want parents to know about school-year opportunities for city residents. Youth sports including baseball, lacrosse, basketball, football, and cheerleading are all on the menu. For adults, the tennis center is open, as well as co-ed soccer and goat yoga. Not so much an outdoorsy person? The city now offers eSports for residents to compete in video games such as Madden 22, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. (City of Milton, GA)
- Are you looking for a new home? There are five houses that are ready for you to check out in the Alpharetta area. A stately home on 1180 Greatwood Manor is listed at $1.1 million with 3,863 square feet, four bedrooms, and five bathrooms. Too modest for your tastes? - The City of Alpharetta has released its fall and winter arts and culture class guide. Youth and teens are invited to participate in hands-on classes in clay and pottery, pastel and pencil drawings, and other creative arts. - A personal transportation vehicle plan has been approved by the City of Milton. The plan included multiple sections of state law being incorporated into city code, allowing for personal transportation vehicles to be used on public streets where the speed limit is 25 miles per hour or less.
