🌱 Milton Tax Headline Error + Graham Continues To Evade Subpoena

Here are the top five stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:

1. The print version of the Milton Herald featured an incorrect headline about November ballot questions. The headline read "Milton voters to decide tax hike" when the questions would actually be about tax decreases. The online version of the article was correct along with the printed article body. Appen Media has publicly apologized for the print error. (City of Milton)

3. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has now asked a federal judge to terminate the Fulton County grand jury subpoena. If the U.S. District Court in South Carolina does not terminate the subpoena, Graham will have to testify on Aug. 2. Graham is arguing that "the Constitution's Speech or Debate Clause protects him from this legal process." The investigation is about the 2020 General Election and two phone calls Graham made to Georgia's Secretary of State to allegedly re-evaluate ballots to give President Trump a more favorable outcome. 4. Fulton County has released a request for proposal (RFP) for the county's Behavioral Health Network. The request is seeking vendors to enhance the county's behavioral health services while establishing a county-wide provider network. The proposals are due by Aug. 22. (Open Minds)
5. An Alpharetta woman has accused her stepson of vandalizing her home on America's Cup Cove on Jun. 26. According to the woman, her stepson threw a large rock through her dining room window. The woman reports that her stepson is under the influence of "Delta 8" frequently. (Appen Media)
