Star Student 'Loves Being A Part Of The Alpharetta Community'

Alpharetta GA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Claire works at Publix. She enjoys truly loves getting to chat with patrons and enjoys using her sign language skills to communicate with customers in the deaf community. She volunteers at her school and the Alpharetta library every week. In her free time, she crochets blankets for the local animal shelters. She maintains a 3.7 GPA and participates in chorus and theater where she has received numerous awards and recognition for her performances.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Claire loves being a part of the Alpharetta community. She has a very strong work ethic and is always looking for ways to be involved . Whether it's taking care of our neighbors plants and animals, supporting local businesses or volunteering, Claire fully immerses herself in all that Alpharetta has to offer.
