  1. Are you looking for something fun to do with the entire family? On Saturday, Sept. 9, there will be a Touch-a-Truck festival in Milton. It will take place at Stonecreek Church’s parking lot at 13540 Highway 9 starting at 10 a.m. There will be music, food, inflatables and lots of fun trucks to explore. This is a free event except for the food; there will be several food trucks at the festival. (City of Milton)
  2. The Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA is collecting items for North Fulton Charities' food pantry and hygiene kits. You can drop them off at the YMCA any time before Sept. 7. There is a list of needed items on this link; they include juice boxes, cookies, chips, toothpaste and soap. (YMCA)
  3. Would you like to enjoy food from several Alpharetta restaurants all at the same time? Check out the Grand Tasting Alpharetta event; it will be on Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Hotel at Avalon.   • Attention Midway Elementary school parents — there are many fun and important events taking place over the next few weeks.
