March of Dimes partners with Macy's for the seventh annual "Shop for a Cause"

Macy’s and March of Dimes invite customers to participate in the seventh annual “Shop For A Cause” charity shopping event at Macy’s stores nationwide on Saturday, August 25, 2012. “Shop For A Cause” iwas created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts, which has helped raise more than $42 million for charitable organizations across the country since 2006. 

On Saturday, August 25th, customers making a purchase with a “Shop For A Cause” savings pass will receive 25% off regular, sale and clearance merchandise, as well as 10% off watches, furniture, mattresses and area rugs, plus are eligible to win a $500 gift card.

Shopping passes sold at Macy’s stores and macys.com are $5 each, and will benefit March of Dimes. The organization will receive 100% of every ticket sold at Macy’s stores and on macys.com. Shopping passes are only sold on macys.com on August 25, but customers may purchase shopping passes in advance at all Macy’s locations starting August 15.
