Athens-Clarke County Government: Wiggley Field Dog Park Temporarily Closed For Improvements

New Shade Structures coming soon to the 2 large fields at Wiggley Field! But... progress is sometimes a little inconvenient. We will have to close the fields for a few days to let the construction crew come in to lay the foundation and install the poles for the shade structures, and keep our furry friends safe.

The 2 large fields at Wiggley Field will be closed on Wednesday, September 29, 2021-Tuesday, October 4, 2021 for construction and improvements.

The small middle field will be open, but if noise and construction smells and equipment are a concern for your pup, check out the dog parks at Sandy Creek Park and Memorial Park over the next week or so.
