ATHENS, GA — The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs are bringing the championship trophy back to the Peach State.
With a score of 65-7, the Dawgs defeated Monday night the No. 3 Texas Christian Horned Frogs in the National College Football Championship at SoFi Stadium to end a perfect 15-0 season.
Head Coach Kirby Smart and quarterback Stetson Bennett led the Bulldogs to score 17 points in the first quarter, 21 points in the second quarter, 14 points in the third quarter and 13 points in the fourth quarter.

The 2022-23 football season will be the last for Bennett, 25, who is ending his college career with a 29-3 record, according to ESPN.
