Find "Glory" in the Richard Russell Special Collections Library on Friday

The event is part of the Spotlight on the Arts festival, the UGA Press 75th anniversary and University Press Week.

Come to the Richard Russell Special Collections Library at 7pm on Friday for a free screening of "Glory," a 1989 movie starring Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington. It's part of a four-day movie fest featuring movies based on books published by the University of Georgia Press. In this case, the movie is partially based on Robert Gould Shaw's letters, which were collected as "Blue-Eyed Child of Fortune: The Civil War Letters of Robert Gould Shaw" and published by the Press.
