Former Georgia Bulldog receiver A.J. Green says that he will attend G-Day in Athens on April 22.

ATHENS, GA -- Former Georgia Bulldog A.J. Green is excited about coming back to Athens for G-Day, the end of spring football camp, he said.

Speaking in an online video uploaded on social media, Green, a star NFL player for the Cincinnati Bengals, said that "It's big, man. That fact that it's 93,000 (capacity), I hope we can get that much people here this year. I'm going to be attending, and it would be an unbelievable experience."

Green said that G-Day will give younger players the confidence they need to compete in the fall. The 2017 annual G-Day Game, which ultimately determines the team's starters, will be played in Sanford Stadium on Saturday, April 22.
