Georgia Bulldogs Victory Parade: What Fans, Residents Need To Know

The Georgia Bulldogs are now back-to-back college football champs.

ATHENS, GA — Plans to celebrate the Georgia Bulldogs landslide win in the College Football Playoff National Championship over the Texas Christian Horned Frogs have been announced.

The Dawgs defeated the Frogs Monday night, 65-7, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

A parade to celebrate the team's championship win will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, heading from Lumpkin Street to Sanford Stadium, with the Dawg Walk planned for 1 p.m. A stadium celebration will take place at 2 p.m. Gates open at noon.

Due to construction at Sanford, the Dawg Walk will start at the Baxter Street extension and will go through the Tate Student Center Plaza, college officials said.

Entry for the celebration will be held at gates 1, 2, 3, 4, 4A and 5.

Stadium seating will be in the west, east and north stands with reserved seating on the field.

Complimentary tickets are now available to Hartman Fund season ticket holders, faculty and staff season ticket holders and students who have received full or partial season ticket packages.

Tickets for the general public will be available starting at 9 a.m. Thursday on the Georgia Bulldogs website.

The parade and ceremony will be streamed live via WSB-TV, the Bulldogs website, SEC Network+ and on Facebook Live.

Scott Howard and guests will speak on the event on WSB-Radio and select Bulldog Sports Radio Network stations.
