The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is seeking the help of the community in obtaining any information that would assist in identifying the individuals shown in the attached photographs.
On December 26, 2013, at approximately 6:20 PM a dark-colored mini-van approached a white female in her mid to late 20’s. She was wearing a black jacket, black shirt, dark colored tights, and tall black boots while she was walking on Firewood Street near its intersection with Whit Davis Road.
A white male exited the vehicle and was seen grabbing the female from behind and forcing her into the back seat of the van. Surveillance video from a business close to where the abduction may have occurred does show what is believed to be the two individuals involved together immediately preceding the event.
The vehicle is described as a dark colored Dodge Caravan with possible tag characters of 481FWC or FUI4WC.
