Start Time For UGA's Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game Announced
The Georgia Bulldogs and North Carolina Tar Heels will play in the game, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

ATHENS, GA -- A starting time has been announced for the Georgia Bulldogs' 2016 opener versus the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta.
The September 3 matchup will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
The No. 13 Bulldogs and No. 19 Tar Heels will be playing for the first time since 1971.

The matchup, at the Georgia Dome, will mark the 9th straight year that the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game has marked the beginning of the college football season.
The annual game usually matches up squads from the SEC and ACC.

Georgia and North Carolina have played 30 times since 1895, with the Bulldogs holding an overall 16-12-2 advantage. The 1971 game was a 7-3 Georgia victory.
This year will be the second Chick-fil-A Kickoff appearance for both teams. They will battle for The Old Leather Helmet Trophy.
All tickets for the game are being sold through the university ticket offices. No tickets will be available through the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl office.
The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game was created by Peach Bowl, Inc., in partnership with ESPN, as a bowl-style game to kick off the season on the first Saturday of play each year.
