UGA-Auburn Decides Who's Getting Free Waffles

Only in the South, right?

There will be plenty on the line when the Georgia and Auburn football teams play Saturday in Athens.

National rankings, SEC East standings and bragging rights, to name a few.

Add free waffles to the list.

Waffle House said the winner of the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” will also win free waffles for its fans. Saturday Down South reported depending on the outcome of the game, a Waffle House location in Athens or Auburn will serve free waffles, hash browns and coffee for a day. Waffle House also will donate $15,000 to the winning school’s general scholarship fund.
