1 Dead, 1 Injured In Atlanta Shooting

ATLANTA, GA — A man is dead, and another is injured, after a shooting Sunday in the 1900 block of Campbellton Road Southwest, Atlanta Police said.

Officers responded around 10 a.m. to Campbellton, where they say they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Emergency medical workers took to the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Another man was taken to the hopsital with gunshot wounds and was listed in stable condition, police said.

Investigators told reporters the shooting may have resulted from a dispute that escalated near an event center.

Police did not identify any potential suspects. APD's Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
