Toddler Killed When Shot In NW Atlanta Home By Another Child

Atlanta Police are investigating the circumstances that led to a toddler's deadly shooting inside a northwest Atlanta home.

ATLANTA, GA — A toddler shot late Wednesday night in his northwest Atlanta home has died from gunshot wounds, police say.

Around 11 p.m., Atlanta Police officers were called to reports of a shooting at a home in the 800 block of Harwell Road in northwest Atlanta.

Responding officers arrived to find a 1-year-old shot inside the home, police said.

The child died on Friday.

Investigators are trying to piece together what happened, but no charges or arrests had been made thus far.
