2 Teens Killed In Shooting Near Clayton State: Report
Clayton State on Thursday released a statement after two teens were killed near its campus in a shooting that stemmed from a dispute.
MORROW, GA — Two teenagers are dead after a shooting Wednesday near Clayton State University, according to news reports.
Clayton State confirmed Thursday they were not students at the campus.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. while four people were walking at Trammell Road, Atlanta News First reported. A dispute led to the shooting that killed the two teenagers, who died at the scene, the news outlet reported, adding the remaining teenagers ran.

The teenagers who died were believed to be between ages 17 and 19, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. The accused gunman is at large, the news outlet reported.
Clayton State, in a statement, said the fatal shooting occurred near the campus' east entrance.

"While this is a concerning situation, please be assured that there is currently no indication of any immediate threat to our campus community. ... Remain alert to your surroundings at all times," Clayton State representatives said.
Counseling services at the campus are being offered.
