4 Treated In Fulton Courthouse Lockdown
A letter with a white substance was sent to Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis' office, prompting a partial lockdown Friday, reports say.

ATLANTA, GA — Four people had to be treated Friday after a letter with a white substance sent to the district attorney's office triggered a lockdown of the Fulton County Courthouse's third floor, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue and media reports.
The letter was opened around 2 p.m. at Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' office, where Atlanta Fire Rescue was promptly called, WSB-TV reported.
The lockdown has since been lifted, but fire officials said four staffers showed symptoms and had to be taken to a hospital.

Fire officials said Homeland Security and hazmat teams determined the substance to possibly be salt or starch. The origin of the letter was unknown.
