$40K Reward Offered After Deadly Robbery Of Atlanta Businessman
Police say Atlanta businessman, Desmond Key, 35, was gunned down outside a luxury apartment complex March 4. His killers remain at large.

ATLANTA, GA — The reward amount for tips leading to an arrest in the killing of an Atlanta businessman has increased.
Anyone who can help police bring the suspects involved in the deadly shooting of Desmond Key, 35, to justice can now qualify for a $40,000 reward, according to Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta. That's $5,000 more than previously offered.
"This is once again a time where we need your help. The family has brought forth a significant reward in tandem with the Atlanta Police Foundation and the Crime Stoppers unit," Lt. Ralph Woolfolk with the Atlanta Police Department said during a news conference Friday.

At least two people exited the car, pointed a gun at him and shot him before taking off.
"We know that this was a targeted robbery," Woolfolk said. "We know there was a bag taken from Mr. Keith. The items in question and what was in that bag is still under investigation at this time."

Police said they've also identified several persons of interest as well as a vehicle of interest but hope the public can help supply them with additional clues to provide Key's family closure.
"The smallest things can help as it relates to these cases," Woolfolk said.
"This individual was a hard-working man. He was a graduate of one of the top schools here in Atlanta, Moorehouse College. He was gainfully employed with his employer here in the City of Atlanta for 13 years," he added.
Key was also described as both an entrepreneur and businessman.
He leaves behind two young sons and a wife.
Anyone with information that may help solve this case is encouraged to call 404-557-TIPS (8477).
