5 Shot, Including Teens, At ATL's Mechanicsville Reunion: Report
Atlanta Police said three teenagers were among five people who were shot and injured at Windsor Street.
ATLANTA, GA — Five people, including three teenagers, were shot Saturday in the 500 block of Windsor Street, Atlanta Police said.
The shooting happened during the Mechanicsville neighborhood reunion at a local park, Fox 5 Atlanta reported, citing witnesses. About 7,000 people attended the reunion, the news outlet reported.
Police said the shooting occurred around 10 p.m., when officers overheard multiple gunshots in the area.

A 29-year-old woman was among those who were shot, and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
Also injured in the shooting were a 17-year-old girl, a 33-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, police said. They were taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police did not release a motive for the shooting or identify any potential suspects.
"There was going to be a shooting," witness Durell Jackson told Fox 5. "We already heard that, it was already mentioned that there was going to be a shooting. So, they was telling a lot of people, 'Don't come.' This is the last reunion out of all the reunions, so this is one of the biggest ones in Atlanta, Georgia. We have it every year."
