5 Things to Do in Atlanta This Week to Cure the Super Bowl Blues
To take your mind off the loss to the Patriots, check out these events for a good time.

ATLANTA, GA -- It's one of those Mondays, Atlanta. The metro area and, really, all of Georgia watched in horror Sunday night as the Falcons collapsed by giving up the largest lead in Super Bowl history.
Things may look bleak now but you've got to carry on. We have plenty of productive things to do this week. The Atlanta Hawks have two home games downtown. Krispy Kreme has free doughnuts all month.
But hours after the Falcons blew the game to the New England Patriots, it's hard to think about the long-term future. Here are five things to do around the city this week that just might cure those post-Super Bowl blues:

Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi comes to Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta on Friday, Feb. 10. The show, called "This House is Not for Sale," will allow the band to definitely get into their classic hits, but don't be surprised if they play some songs from their upcoming 14th album. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Universoul Circus
With Ringling Bros. calling it a career, the #BestCircusEver comes to Atlanta this week at a great time. The Universoul Circus has been billed as "a house party, family reunion and block party" combination and we cannot argue. The festivities begin at Turner Field on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and run until March 12.
Fernbank After Dark
One of the most acclaimed museums in Georgia is going to dim the lights and turn into an after-hours spot. Friday Feb.10 is the debut of Fernbank After Dark, which will feature dining options such as tapas, drinks and entertainment. Atlanta Ballet Fellowship Ensemble Presents 'Snow White'
If you haven't seen the classic fairytale that is "Snow White," this one-hour ballet version is worth your while. The show will be kid-friendly, catered specifically for younger audiences ages 12 and under. The presentation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. For more info, see atlantaballet.com.
OysterFest
The annual Spiral Entertainment event at Park Tavern in Midtown returns on Sat. Feb. 11. The day-long festival will feature live music from local bands, DJs, and of course, plenty of fresh raw, steamed, and fried oysters and shrimp. Sounds like the place to be.
