- A man wanted for numerous Atlanta aggravated assaults was arrested in Forest Park earlier this month. On Jun. 1, Stephen Lorenzo Harris was arrested at the Wingate Apartmentsafter police were called to the scene on a report of a suspicious person. Harris was arrested on several aggravated assault and gun possession charges. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Two teenagers and one adult have been charged with burglarizing an Atlanta apartment. Jason Diggs, Jason Hill, and Tremeico Watson allegedly burglarized an apartment at the 2800 block of Waters Road on May 25th. Police shortly found and arrested the suspects, who were later charged with burglary. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Gas prices in Georgia are nearing an all-time high according to the AAA. The statewide average price per gallon of regular gas is $4.27, while in Atlanta, the average cost is $4.29. These prices are still below the national average of $4.84, which is largely thanks to Governor Kemp's extension of the Georgia gas tax suspension through Jul. 14. (11Alive.com WXIA)

- March For Our Lives, a gun control advocacy group is hosting several gun law reform protests all across Georgia on Saturday, June 11th. The group is trying to gain support for new gun reform laws after a series of mass shootings in 2022. In Atlanta, there will be a protest at Ebenezer Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Atlanta Patch)
