  1. The alleged killer of popular Atlanta rapper, Trouble, has turned himself in to the sheriff's office. Jamichael Jones turned himself in to authorities early Tuesday for alledging shooting Trouble at an apartment complex on Sunday. A judge denied his bond and his next hearing is scheduled for June 15th. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. A man disappeared while swimming in the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta on Monday. Cobb County Police are conducting an underwater search to find a 20-year-old who went missing after trying to swim across the river to a popular diving rock. The search and rescue team is conducting the operation near Diving Rock, north of the perimeter in Atlanta. (Patch)
  3. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens is planning on spending $20 million to enhance child care and improve preschool in the city. In total, this money would be $5 million from the city, $5 million from the city’s public school system, and $10 million from private donors. Atlanta's $5 million dollars will come from the city's pandemic relief fund. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  4. On Sunday, an Atlanta educator was killed by a wrong-way driver on the downtown connector. Mecario Harris was hit by a 22-year-old driver heading north in the southbound lanes at Fulton Street. Harris was an educator for Atlanta Public Schools before he started the nonprofit Ace Academy. (WSB Atlanta)
  5. On Monday night, a small fire broke out at a popular pizzeria, Rocky Mountain Pizza. Firefighters quickly contained a fire that is believed to have been started by an electric fire. Guests inside were quickly evacuated and no one was injured. (Fox 5)
