Georgia authorities are seeking the whereabouts of an inmate they say escaped from a hospital, stole a SUV and crashed it.
ATLANTA, GA — A Rockdale County inmate who was being medically examined at Grady Memorial Hospital after a suicide attempt has escaped custody, authorities said Monday.
Timothy Shane was taken to Grady around 8 p.m. Sunday, but hours later, was accused of escaping the custody of deputies around 1:15 a.m. Monday, the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office said.
