Atlanta Apartment Association to Host 29th Annual Food-a-Thon

he Atlanta Apartment Association’s 29th annual Food-A-Thon food and fund drive, will culminate Friday, Oct. 14 with a large parade and celebration at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. AAA members collected enough food items and money to provide 7.29 million meals to hungry families in Georgia in 2015.

Members typically decorate their vehicles and dress up to reflect the theme. They will parade into the Food Bank parking lot to deliver their food and money donations, and will then celebrate with a block party that includes lunch, games, and music. This year’s theme is “Lights! Cans! Action!”

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is located at 732 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd., NW.
