Police have charged Demarco Parham with multiple crimes related to Sandy Springs incident -- and more charges are on the way.
ATLANTA, GA -- A wide-ranging burglary investigation involving the Sandy Springs and Atlanta police departments point to an Atlanta man as a main suspect, Patch has learned.
Demarco Parham of Atlanta was arrested this week, according to Sandy Springs police spokesman Sgt. Sam Worsham.
Police also believe Parham is involved in multiple burglaries in Atlanta and Sandy Springs. He has been charged with home invasion, armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft.

The charges stem from a harrowing home invasion on Feb. 12 in Sandy Springs, in which a couple were roused from sleep after hearing "multiple people downstairs rummaging furniture," as Patch previously reported.
Police said additional charges for Parham are on the way: Investigators have recovered items from multiple burglaries as well as the handgun used in the Sandy Springs break-in.
