ATLANTA, GA -- Thursday is National Pizza Day, which is a perfect excuse to indulge in a pie. If you're like most of us, cooking a homemade pizza is not necessarily on the to-do list. But no worries, Atlanta has many pizza spots to choose from.

From Midtown to downtown to smaller enclaves around the city, there are some killer pizza joints around here. Whether you like it with peppers on pineapples, the city's pizza eateries have flavors galore and many of them make some pretty great salads and calzones.
