Local Businesses Evacuate After Gas Leak, Street Closed: Atlanta Fire
A gas leak was reported near the 3100 block of Browns Mills Road. Krog Street was blocked from Edgewood Avenue to Irwin Street NW.

ATLANTA, GA — Some local businesses evacuated Monday morning near the 3100 block of Browns Mills Road due to a natural gas leak, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue Department.
A gas leak was reported Monday close to 10 a.m. Krog Street was blocked from Edgewood Avenue to Irwin Street NW. Three surrounding businesses near the ruptured gas line were asked to evacuate.
Atlanta Gast Light said a contractor, unrelated to their organization, struck a natural gas line around 10:30 a.m., reported WXIA-TV.
