Chrisley Daughter Says Dad, Brother Are Blackmailing Her

Lindsie Chrisley Campbell says her father and brother are threatening her with a sex tape if she doesn't support her family's defense.

ATLANTA — The estranged daughter of a reality TV show couple facing federal tax evasion and conspiracy charges says she's being blackmailed to support her parents' defense. On Monday, Lindsie Chrisley Campbell, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley of "Chrisley Knows Best," said her father and brother Chase, are extorting her to support the family's defense by threatening to release a sex tape of her.

Todd and Julie Chrisley are both out on $100,000 bond after surrendering to the FBI after being indicted by a grand jury Tuesday. The couple have been indicted on multiple counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion, which may have cost them their TV show. The couple's accountant, Roswell, Georgia-based Peter Tarantino, has also been indicted on tax-related offenses, authorities say.

The Chrisleys, who were arraigned in federal court, also face travel restrictions to the Middle Tennessee and North Georgia federal districts.

On Monday, Lindsie Campbell told multiple media outlets, including E!News, TMZ, Fox 5 Atlanta and Channel 2, that Cherokee County police are investigating her claim that her father and brother threatened to release a sex tape allegedly made with her and two contestants from the TV show, "The Bachelor."

According to TMZ, Campbell said her father Todd and brother Chase threatened to blackmail her with a sex tape of her if she didn't lie about "an incident."

In a statement to E!News, Campbell's attorney, Musa Ghanayem, said "Lindsie would like nothing more than to be left alone and go about her own business. Unfortunately, certain members of her family will not let her live in peace. We are flabbergasted at the audacity of Todd and Chase Chrisley, who are more focused on attacking my client rather than defending themselves against the allegations of criminal conduct.

"While is it not necessary to detail their repugnant actions, it is important to note that the allegations are of serious crimes against Lindsie," Ghanayem said. "Lindsie had made a complaint of their acts to law enforcement and she will provide them whatever they need in the course of their investigation into her family's actions. Lindsie prays for a just outcome so that she can go forward with her life safe from those who are looking to do her harm."
