Arrests Made In GA ICE Raids
Raids targeting illegal immigrants were done in Atlanta, Savannah and Cartersville, the Drug Enforcement Administration's Atlanta office tweeted. The arrests came when federal immigration officials tweeted they began scouring Chicago, Illinois "to enforce U.S. immigration law and preserve public safety and national security by keeping potentially dangerous criminal aliens out of our communities."
Murder Convictions Upheld For YSL Allies: GA Supreme Court
Georgia's highest court has upheld murder convictions for YSL associates Rodalius "Lil Rod" Ryan and Damone "Bali" Blalock, who were convicted of shooting and killing 15-year-old Jamari Holmes when they were teenagers.

Man Kills Stepson In Shooting, Police Say
A 54-year-old man is facing murder charges after being accused of shooting and killing his stepson in a domestic-related incident.
Measles Detected In Metro ATL In 1st Case Of 2025
The first measles case of the year has been detected in metro Atlanta, the Georgia Department of Public Health said. Health officials are searching for anyone who may have been in contact with the person between Jan. 19 and Friday, the DPH said.
