Drive-By Shooting Suspect Arrested In Death Of 6-Month-Old
Police are charging Dequasie Little with felony murder and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting death of Grayson Fleming-Gray.

ATLANTA, GA – Police investigators have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a 6-month-old Monday during a drive-by shooting.
Dequasie Little was charged with aggravated assault and felony murder.
“In just 24 hours we have a suspect under arrest. They worked through the night and through the day as if this child was their own,” Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said of police investigators and officers working the case. “There was a life that was lost in our city,” Dickens said. “That life was only six months old. Grayson Fleming-Gray did not deserve to die yesterday.”

The 6-month-old was caught in the crossfire of a shooting Monday afternoon around 2:35 p.m. at a Food Mart near the intersection of Tiger Flowers Drive and Anderson Avenue NW, police said.
Earlier Tuesday, Atlanta police released a video showing an SUV driving past the store with an armed man leaning out the window. And a $5,000 reward was also offered for help leading to an arrest and conviction.

Hours later, police had a suspect in custody.
“I’m mad as hell that the incident happened in the first place,” Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant said. “We're in a place where violence in our major cities and throughout our country has gotten out of control. And it's the community that can have a hand in this. We are seeing too many instances where people don't know how to resolve a conflict.”
