  1. Popular comedians Eric André and Clayton English have filed a lawsuit stating that they were racially profiled by police at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in 2020 and 2021. The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday against the Clayton County Police Department and the district attorney's office. According to the suit, both comedians separately experienced being stopped during layovers in Atlanta by authorities, where they were repeatedly asked if they had any illegal drugs. André and English allege that this was an example of racial profiling. Of the 402 passengers stopped from 2020 to 2021, 378 of the stops had the race of the passenger listed in the records; 56 percent of those 378 passengers were identified as Black, and 68 percent were people of color.
