Flash Flooding In Eastern Cobb, North Fulton: NWS
The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for Cobb and Fulton counties as thunderstorms continue throughout the day.
ATLANTA — The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Cobb and Fulton counties, including much of north Fulton County until 9 a.m.
Areas included in the warning are Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell and Marietta.

People living in those areas are advised to move to high ground or elevated levels if inside a building. Drivers are especially cautioned to be alert for roads that may be washed out.

“We have numerous creeks and streams that a still running very high this morning, especially in eastern Cobb County,” a National Weather Service tweet warned. “Please do not drive through any remaining flooded roadways and heed all road closures. Water may have washed out what road was there!”
The forecast calls for a chance of thunderstorms and patchy fog throughout the day with a high in the 70s.
