Ex-Atlantan Vanishes From Miami Hospital: Family

Twenty-two-year-old Alexis Say was last seen in Florida in January.

ATLANTA, GA -- A former metro Atlanta woman has been missing for three weeks and her friends and family think she may be in danger.

Alexis Say was last seen last month in the Miami area, where she had been staying because of an undisclosed addiction.

A Facebook page set up by Jennifer Say, Alexis' mother, says that the 22-year-old left North Shore Medical Center on Jan. 23. "She is my very intelligent, huge-hearted, beautiful daughter. She is in very poor health. Please help me find her and bring her home safe."

A GoFundMe has been set up to help raise money to search for Alexis Say, who is purportedly "in poor health."

"I don't usually post personal or dramatic things but I'm looking for any help that might be out there, whether it is prayers, connections or avenues I haven't explored," her mother says on the site. "My daughter, Alexis Say, is currently missing in Miami. She has no ID, no cell phone, no vehicle, no access to money and is in poor health."

She used to live in Peachtree City and attended McIntosh High School, according to WAGA-TV.

Her family is reportedly fearful that their daughter has gotten caught up in sex trafficking. Metro Atlanta is a major hub for sex exploitation, something that local police departments have alerted the public about on many occasions.

She is described as being 5'02, 105 pounds with brown eyes and black, straight hair.

Anyone with information on Alexis' whereabouts is asked to contact police. If you want to help in the search, there are details on the blog HelpfindAlexisSay.com.
