Fulton County School Board To Meet For Working Retreat

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 8 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for its routinely-held working retreat.

The board may adjourn into executive session immediately following the discussion topics. They will then convene for public vote, if needed, on executive session items immediately after executive session.

All meetings of the school board are open to the public unless designated as executive session where, by law, the board must convene in private to discuss land, legal, or personnel items. Any vote resulting from executive session discussion, however, will occur in an open public setting.

Social distancing will be practiced at all meetings and hearings, and therefore space for attendees may be reduced.

The meeting will be held at Lanier Islands, 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway, Buford, Ga 30518.
