Government to celebrate football team with pep rally and more ahead of Sunday's playoff game.
ATLANTA, GA -- The weather may be downright balmy these days, but people are still catching Falcons fever, courtesy of the recent success of Atlanta's NFL team.
Fulton County government plans to celebrate the Falcons' 2016 season ahead of Sunday's NFL Championship Game in a big way, officials announced this week.
Fulton employees will close out the end of the work week by rechristening it "Falcons Friday" and wearing the NFL team's colors red and black around county offices.

The county is scheduled to host a pep rally for the team at Fulton County Government Center between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Atlanta has a chance to go to the Super Bowl if they can win Sunday's contest against the Green Bay Packers at 3:05 p.m. The game is the last football ball contest at the dome.
Next season the Falcons will play in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
