- Fulton County Schools will start using a new threat assessment tool soon. In response to the recent mass shootings in Buffalo, the Fulton County Schools System implementing a threat assessment tool that will function as a road map to measure who's a risk and how teachers and staff should respond. The tool will look at how much of a risk the threat is to others and what response is needed, from police to parents to counselors. (Atlanta Patch)
- Hundreds gathered at Coan Park on Thursday to bid farewell to the late rapper, Trouble. His real name was Mariel Orr, but his fans will always know him as Trouble. Fans, friends, and family gathered to celebrate his life. Orr, 34, was shot in Rockdale County on Sunday. He loved Atlanta’s Edgewood community so much that he named his debut album after it. - An Atlanta McDonald's employee is accused of shooting his manager. Investigators from Atlanta Police say Christopher Jean-Pierre, 21, shot his manager during an argument on Monday. The manager, Elizabeth Williams, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Her current condition is unclear. (WSB Atlanta)
- Breakout Games recently partnered with Hasbro to bring a CLUE escape room to Atlanta. This Friday, the new room will bring the mystery game to life that reimagines the experience for friends and family to solve in person. The exclusive live-action take on the concept gives players the opportunity to interact with suspected murder weapons, inspect rooms from the gameboard, and fill out a deduction card to submit their suspicion.
