Harlem Globetrotters Surprise Five Year Old At The South ATL Library
Five-year-old Daliyah Arana was surprised by two Globetrotters this week & received tickets for being a 'Junior Phenom'.

From Atlanta-Fulton Public Library: The Harlem Globetrotters surprised five-year-old Daliyah Arana this week at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System’s Southeast Atlanta Library with two special visitors and an award for her inspiring commitment to reading. Arana was named a “Junior Phenom” by the famed basketball team for reading over 1,000 books by the time she was four years old. The young reader, who recently turned five, shared that she was now up to over 2,000 books and was reading at college-level. Her favorite author, however, remains Mo Willems.
As part of the Junior Phenom award, Ms. Arana was presented with an official Globetrotters team jersey, headband and tickets for her entire family to attend an upcoming game. The two team members presenting the award, “Buckets” and “El Gato” showed Ms. Arana a special Globetrotters trick created just for this special young lady.
