Here Are The Best Colleges In GA, According To Niche

More than 4,000 U.S. colleges and universities, including 15 in Georgia, were ranked in the 2026 Best Colleges in America.

GEORGIA — Georgia Institute of Technology is the best college in Georgia, according to rankings released Monday by Niche, a college ranking and review platform. In all, 15 colleges in Georgia were ranked among the best.

More than 4,000 U.S. colleges and universities were ranked in the 2026 Best Colleges in America.

1. Georgia Institute of Technology
Overall Niche grade: A+
Acceptance rate: 16 percent
Net price: $15,901
SAT range: 1330-1530

2. Emory University
Overall Niche grade: A+
Acceptance rate: 11 percent
Net price: $27,986

3. University of Georgia
Overall Niche grade: A+
Acceptance rate: 37 percent

5. Spelman College
Overall Niche grade: B+
Acceptance rate: 34 percent

Emory was ranked second among the best Christian colleges.
