Georgia Holiday Forecast: Record-Breaking Weather Christmas Eve, What About Christmas Day?
The heat is on this holiday season. You're getting what you wanted for Christmas if you wished for "warm weather."

ATLANTA, GA — Temperatures in the region on Christmas Eve broke records, and Christmas Day could be another warm one, with time outside replacing time around the fireplace.
The high temperature hit 73 degrees Saturday afternoon, breaking the record of 72 degrees on Christmas Eve last year.
We'll likely fall just short of the record on Christmas Day. The high temperature in Atlanta is expected to hit 71 degrees. The high last year hit 75 degrees.

The forecast for Christmas Day calls for patchy fog before 11 a.m. The skies will be mostly sunny for the rest of the day, with some noticeable wind picking up in the afternoon. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 54 degrees.
Temperatures will be a little cooler next week, with a persistent chance for rain through Thursday.
