- Managers Sha’querria Kaigler, Keisha Blue-Murray, and Tunisia Woodward were conducting their routine duties when they heard a woman scream from the bathroom. During a pit stop for a bite to eat and a bathroom break at an Atlanta McDonald’s, a woman’s water broke in the restroom, and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl with the help of the three employees. The McDonald’s workers received $250 in gift cards toward their Thanksgiving dinners from the restaurant. (WSB Radio)
- Christmas markets are becoming more popular in America, and three of Georgia's holiday markets ranked within the top 15 festive markets on Trips to Discover, a travel discovery platform. Atlanta Christkindl Market, Savannah Christmas Market, and Christkindlmarkt in Helen take you through a European-style Christmas town filled with vendors, lights, performances, and winter activities. - Glenwood Green townhome residents are frustrated with post office break-ins which started at the beginning of the year and recently became more common. Cameras were newly installed, and footage showed a two-suspect team clearing the location of packages. Atlanta police are investigating the incident. (Local Today)
- A Thanksgiving morning head-on collision killed three and left one person in critical condition. A 27-year-old in a Chevrolet Tahoe was driving north on the I-75 southbound Bass Road off-ramp as it hit a Toyota Camry going north. Carmyn Anderson, 5, of Atlanta, and Nomari Waite, 27, were dead at the scene. Anderson's father, Marcellas Coppage, 26, is in critical condition at Navicent Health Hospital. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Amazon founder Jeff Bezos donated $2.5 million to Partners for HOME, a homeless response agency in Atlanta. The donation will help families impacted by the rising rent costs and support families with limited services and low incomes. The Bezos Day 1 Families Fund sent grants to 40 nonprofits to help homeless people. (WSB Atlanta)
