'Bad and Boujee' Tops Chart After Donald Glover's Shoutout
Song from Atlanta rap group hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

ATLANTA, GA -- Call it the "Atlanta" effect. Less than 24 hours after actor Donald Glover gave a random shoutout to Atlanta hip-hop group, Migos and their song "Bad and Boujee," the song has climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Glover mentioned the tune during an acceptance speech Sunday night after his comedy-drama TV series "Atlanta" won a Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy Series.
“I really want to thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta, just for being alive … just for being amazing people," Glover, the show's creator, said during the Globes broadcast.

He then thanked the Migos “not for being in the show but for making a song called “Bad and Boujee,” he said to scattered laughter. "Like, that’s the best song ever.”
Music fans definitely agree. The song, featuring rapper Lil Uzi Vert, vaulted to the top of the chart.
