The little girl was discovered after 5 hours in a vehicle in a bank parking lot in downtown Atlanta, according to police.

ATLANTA, GA — The mother of a small toddler has been located, more than a day after the child was found abandoned in a vehicle in a bank parking lot Friday afternoon.
Late Saturday afternoon, Atlanta Police confirmed Crystal Hitts, 32, was found safe in Riverdale and taken into custody for questioning. She had reportedly started walking from the bank and hitched two rides before she eventually walked into the police headquarters in Riverdale.
Earlier in the week, Hitts travelled nearly 900 miles from her Michigan home with little 18-month old Rekyah Brown, who was found after spending five hours unattended in the parking lot at the Bank of America at 711 Lee Street.
