Mother, Son Jump To Escape Massive Metro Atlanta Apartment Fire
The blaze broke out early Friday morning at the Lakeside Reserve Apartments in College Park.

COLLEGE PARK, GA -- A mother and her son jumped out of their apartment window to escape a massive, early Friday morning apartment fire in College Park. At least four people were injured in the fire, which broke out around 4 am at the Lakeside Reserve Apartments, according to College Park Fire officials.
The fire destroyed between 15 and 20 units, and several buildings also sustained smoke damage, fire officials said.

The Georgia Red Cross said its disaster action teams are helping displaced residents.
